When our father and husband, Dr. José Baselga, was diagnosed with Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD), an extremely rare, fatal neurodegenerative condition, there were many things we could not give him, therapeutic options and hope among them. Instead, we made him a promise: to honor his legacy and his fighting spirit by picking up where he’d left off. Ever since, we’ve merged his crusade against cancer with our own against CJD. We have created this space to commemorate his legacy and highlight initiatives we’ve started – so that you, too, can join our fight.
